I finished the game, that was a great adventure and my play time before going to the last boss is 14h15.
I love the music that is in the Red dungeon( that dungeon on the desert island) and some other dungeons, the music in the Crystal Tower is amazing too, The music of the last boss is one amazing soundtrack that fit perfectly for a big/last boss.
All the music are good but these three are my favorites.
I got lost a few times moving around the world map by boat but after a while it was alright, I just needed time to have the map in my mind hehe :)
The Medusa's monster often scared me 😅
The fairy orb I did not knew exactly on which tree I got it from, I only knew I had it when one of the fairy told me.
Lot of things had to be guessed just like the old rpg games, where to go, what accessory do what and such, I am not sure yet about all of them hehe :)
That was bringing me back into the time were not many explanation were given in a lot of games, figuring things out is sure nice sometimes as long as it is not too difficult :)
I had a bad feeling when seeing the Mechacreature the first time( and i died 😅) but I came back with more level to try my luck again :)
The last boss was really well made and with that amazing music.
The fire, ice, thunder "force" skill of the priest seems to have an issue, it is targeting the enemy instead of an ally. (I am guessing it is a mistake at least)
The priest and the Soldier requires the same exp to level up, the mage require more exp and the fighter requires even more, I am not sure if that was the way you planned it or it is just a mistake?
This is my levels before going to the last boss, as you can see the difference of exp requirement per characters create a huge gap of levels between the characters as we go up.
I spoke to a npc that said they wish Retro Fantasy 2 will happen, I agree with that npc 100%, I am looking forward to a Retro Fantasy 2 too 😄

But one of the npc's is right about something?
Retro Fantasy 2 is getting set up and i'm going to be starting on that soon. I think I'm going to use this asset again because I didn't really use all of it so the sequal will be bigger, longer, better and more exciting than this game. And I will make sure everything is 100 test played so there won't be any bugs or any trouble once the game is completed. lol.
Glad to hear Retro Fantasy 2 will exist, take your time and it is alright about bugs :) there is always things we can forget about do not worry :)

I have no idea where to go in the game, I believe I have been everywhere on the map except the tower below which I cannot seem to enter. am I missing something?

I have collected the four crystals and I guess that now I should go to what I believe is the Crystal Tower but I cannot seems to be able to enter or I am missing something yet before going in?
There are 2 village in which I cannot enter, I have no idea if they have a part in the story or not or are they just village that should not exist?
I also noticed a weird thing in the village from the beginning, all non-playable characters are talking like this now
I also noticed that the black mage require the same amount of mana points to use thunder 2 and thunder 3
In the dragon temple when I go in this stair I am appearing again on the same stair
I think it should send me to this one instead?
I hope it is alright for me to tell you about all this, the game is great so I want to help it to better 😥

I fixed all the problems you have brought to my attention. A couple of them I forgot to set the action to Player Touch. I can't believe I forgot to do that :-(. Oh boy I think I rushed it a little or I probably wasn't paying attention with what I was doing. Oh boy my mind does wonder away from me sometimes lol. But I'm glad you reported these so I can fixed them make the game better and more enjoyable to play.
Plus I'm working on the Japanese version right now as you saw earlier. I changed the text in Ronoa back to english.
We all make mistakes and forgets things that is alright :) , I was wondering why the characters were speaking Japanese but that explains the reason, That sound a lot of work to add other languages in the game but that surely a nice idea for more people being able to play, hopefully all goes well :)

I have fixed the problem and this time I played through all of the game and everything is now working at 100%. I just placed the starting character to each dungeon to playtest everything. Now the game is 100% and it is working great now. There should be no more problems other than beating the final boss Lol.

After finding the fairy orb to enter the water temple I encountered another issue 😥
I can only go up or down from the stair starting point
I guess there is again a passage arrow issue 😥

I got your message late but I did managed to fix the problem and tested it now you can move freely around it.
It is alright there is no extreme rush :)
I feel like a messenger of bad news but I think this kind of things need to be said for the good of the game :) , beside I want to go to the end :)

I am almost sure that I can make it :) It is challenging at times that for sure, just like very old rpg games in many ways :)
when I first used this asset I thought about the original final fantasy and that was hard. So I wanted to give it the same difficulty as the original final fantasy game.
I still remember I got killed by an ambush right before you fight tiamat to get the air crystal

Happy Valentine's Day to you. I did find the bug and it was weird and I found that the passage arrows weren't set right so I ended up correcting them. I tested it out and now it's working properly. You can now cross bridges going up and down. It was strange because it was supposed to be set up automatically, but it wasn't right for some reason. But I fixed it and the bridge is passable now.

I encountered an unexpected issue in the fairy forest(village?)
I cannot go past these two bridge to go up and the first has a tree on the other side even if I could walk up

I just got your message and I did just correct the problem. All I did was remove the trees and got rid of them. Now you can go pass them. You just have to redownload it and move your save data to the new game. That way you should not be able to start over.

I started playing 4 days ago and it is a nice game, all the assets must have taken age to do, I am not very far yet, the beginning feels like the first Final Fantasy, you did a great job.
There is one small issue I noticed as soon as I started playing,
the first character(fighter) does not show their name if we choose a woman, the other characters are well about names whether we choose man or woman.
I will do another comment when I will have finished the game :)

I did correct the name error thing. You just need to redownload it. Other than that everything is running great.
I ended up starting a new game and the first character has a name now :)
